The Brachytherapy section of the PC3D planning system can be broken out as a subset of the entire planning system to provide all of the superlative brachytherapy planning capabilities of the PC3D as an independent system. This enables the input of CT and UltraSound images for brachytherapy planning. The unique and special positioning control of the implant is accomplished using the AmerTech Sure Point system with special Medicalibration position encoders for the most accurate assurance of the correct placement of UltraSound guided implants.
